17-22 September – Vanessa Farr: Visit to Hong Kong

Vanessa came to Hong Kong as a guest of the SAWCC of Hong Kong and the South African Consulate to Hong Kong and Macau.
Vanessa drew a wide audience at the Baptist University in Hong Kong where she was scheduled to speak on Conflict management in Palestine. Vanessa allso addressed the Li Po Shan College of multi-national young people in Hong Kong and were asked many questions on World Peace following her talk.
The Peace Day Celebrations of the United Nations on Sunday 19 September in Sha Tin was opened by Dr Vanessa Farr.
Vanessa is currently with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and is the Senior Social Development and Gender Advisor in the occupied Palestinian territories.
