Enjoy an in-depth view of Asia’s luxury retail environment, the most attractive cities in which to operate and whether markets are feeling the first effects of the expanding Eurozone financial crisis, from Paul Husband, managing director of Husband Retail Consulting.

Paul Husband, Managing Director, Husband Retail Consulting Ltd.

Paul Husband has been planning and leasing retail centres, districts and streets across Asia since 1988 when he began his career at Swire Properties as marketing director of Pacific Place.

Paul co-authored “The Cult of The Luxury Brand” in 2006 and regularly speaks with luxury consumers, brand executives and mall owners as part of his work. He also sits on the board of Korean retail group Shinsegae International which listed on the Kospi earlier this year.

Paul and his team are currently working on projects in Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, Chengdu, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Seoul and Phnom Penh and in his role as global representative of US food brand Dean & Deluca has licensed and opened Dean & Deluca stores in Korea, Singapore and Thailand during the past 12 months.

Paul lives in Hong Kong and is known for his love of Italy and Italians!
